Corrin Tulk is an Australian-born artist renowned for her visually stimulating oil paintings, which reinterpret coastal landscapes with a focus on the fluid meeting point between land and sea. Her work explores the natural rhythms of these elements, using bold color, texture, and form to evoke a sense of connection and transience.
Growing up in Australia, Corrin was influenced by the spiritual practices of Aboriginal elders and their deep relationship with the land, particularly through the study of ‘songlines.’ These early experiences shaped her own sense of connection to the earth and continue to inform her work. As part of her artistic process, Corrin often walks along the coastline, playing native flutes to enhance her connection with the landscapes she depicts, grounding her art in the rhythms of nature.
In May 2026, Corrin will collaborate with Linkshouse at the Pier Arts Centre in Birsay, Orkney, for an artist residency. During this time, she will create a sketchbook library based on her travels in Orkney and Shetland, which will serve as the basis for larger seascapes in her studio. With a BA Hons in Illustration (2004) and an MA in Fine and Applied Arts Practice (2007), Corrin’s career includes a background in design in Sydney and London before relocating to the Norfolk Broads in 2010 to focus on large-scale canvas work. She has exhibited widely, including a solo show at Wymondham Arts Centre, and has been shortlisted for the Holt Art Prize on multiple occasions. She is represented by Art of East Anglia Gallery and will also participate in upcoming events like the Spring Art Fair in Norwich and the Norfolk Broads Art Trail.

Music is my other passion, I recently started playing three types of Native American wooden flute and also play a Trevor James silver flute. Soundbaths are my ultimate indulgence. On my last trip to Perth I managed to go to Julian Silburn’s soundbath in Fremantle and experience the deep tones of a crystal quartz Didjeridu!
