Ludham is a village on the Norfolk Broads and opens its gardens bi-annually. Some 12 gardens will be open, mostly with river frontage. There will be about 9 painters dotted around the gardens mostly through the first half of the day and an artists’ marquee with works for sale.
The aims of the event are to show the work of Caper members to the public and to celebrate the colour palette of Edward Seago a long time resident of Ludham.
Lunches, cream teas, tea & cakes, arts & crafts, wherries and heritage fleet, professional gardening advice, car parking, coach parking, toilets, ferries across the river to gardens on both sides (some ferries with disabled facilities). Vintage car display.
All proceeds for this event go towards the upkeep of our 11th century Parish Church of St Catherine.
